Gold-Standard Diagnostic Tool (Lord et al., 2012): The ADOS-2 is a direct observation diagnostic instrument — not a screening scale. Algorithm classifications (Autism · Autism Spectrum · Non-Spectrum) represent empirically validated thresholds. Diagnosis requires integration with developmental history and multi-informant data. Module selection determines classification cutoffs.

ADOS-2 Algorithm Scores
