Gold Standard Adaptive Behavior Assessment: The Vineland-3 (Sparrow, Cicchetti, & Saulnier, 2016) is the most widely used adaptive behavior instrument in special education, autism evaluations, and intellectual disability determinations. It yields an Adaptive Behavior Composite (ABC), four domain composites (Communication, Daily Living Skills, Socialization, Motor Skills), and 11 subdomain v-scale scores. Domain composites use Standard Scores (mean=100, SD=15); subdomains use V-scale scores (mean=15, SD=3).
